Try Mozilla ThunderFire. TF is an email software, with a build-in RSS.

I use a software called BlogExpress. It has been very effective for me to manage 100s of news/RSS feeds. You can download the software for free at

I currently use the Sage extension for Firefox, which lets me view my RSS feeds in my browser. I have tried using web sites (my.yahoo.com), and the RSS functionality built into the Thunderbird email client, but I find Sage to be the best fit for me.

My favorite that works in the browsers is google’s reader. I use firefox and just keep a tab open with my rss feeds. They also use keyboard shortcuts which is nice.
